Kurs i Humanship med Ian Benson fra New Zealand - September 2010! Når du ser i din hests øye - hva ser du?
Nå kommer Ian Benson tilbake til Norge og også Sverige med sin inspirerende workshop i Humanship. Humanship tar for seg forholdet mellom deg og hesten, og bringer horsemanship opp til et nytt nivå. Dette er en unik måte å utvikle forholdet til hesten din på med tillit og respekt.For å få hestens oppriktige tillit og respekt, må vi først tilby det samme. For å oppfylle dette må vi klare å stole på og respektere oss selv. Når vi gjør dette er vi tilstede her og nå uten frykt, og er i stand til å takle uforutsette hendelser. Denne metoden gir deg sjansen til å utforske hvem du er, hvor din frykt ligger, og det som tjener deg. Samt gi en sjanse til å jobbe med ting som begrenser deg. Det blir denne gangen forskjellige typer kurs, Humanship workshop for horseowners/riders og Humanship Workshop for Equine Professionals
Ian Benson er fra New Zealand og holder kurs for hesteeiere, ryttere og profesjonelle hestefolk i hele verden.

Humanship - Humanship is horsemanship plus
It is about developing a feel for the horse, placing the horses' feet where you want them whether on the ground or ridden with the addition of the exploration of the effects of your personality on the physical outcome. Humanship is about the whole relationship between you and your horse with the goal of forming a partnership based on trust and respect with absolute equality. Based on Ian‘s view, that within any relationship you can only directly change yourself; Ian shows in his workshops how the smallest change of attitude or behavior directly and immediately effects the horse. As horses are body language experts it is always important to be aware of what we express non-verbally and therefore communicate to the horse. Ian can help you to understand how the horse perceives you in any given situation. In this way you have the possibility to realize what serves or limits your relationship with your horse. About Ian Benson - Founder of Humanship
Since 1992 Ian Benson has owned a horse farm situated in the beautiful North River Valley, near Waipu, New Zealand. Ian had input from several Horsemen like Ray Hunt, Dennis Reis and Merv Kildey. His best teachers were and still are the clients and the horses themselves. During the years of running a trail riding business and teaching Ian has worked with over 25,000 people of all ages, riding levels and disciplines. In teaching Humanship Horsemanship Ian focuses on the relationship between the horse and the person and shows a way of developing the feel for the horse rather than just teaching a technique. Ian is certified in Equine Assisted Psychotherapy which combines his horse experience with his people skills. He works together with therapists and coaches offering unique learning experiences running youth and business leadership and teambuilding programs. Since 2006 Ian is teaching in Europe (Germany, Norway, Belgium, England) during the NZ winter period.
Ian about Synnøve Bakke - Norwegian Humanship Associate
I have known Synnøve for the last 7 years. She was my first working student and has returned to North River on 2 other occasions for training and work experience. She has undergone over 10 months of full time training with me in the Humanship model of horsemanship training. As well as following up with Humanship clients in Norway, Synnøve specialises in animal communication and is a certified equine specialist with EAGALA.
